"The Surround Aesthetic?" explores the search for a defining 5.1 music mixing aesthetic. 5.1, suround, playback systems

are becoming more common among consumers, but no record as of yet has defined the mixing approach that will permeate

the audio production community. This DVD presentation of music videos experiments with the many approaches engineers

have taken already and builds upon them with each piece having a strict set of rules for panning and approaches to signal

processing. The DVD features the music of both Paul J. Geissinger and Starkey. The music videos were edited by Paul J.

Geissinger and Shannon Moe.
