  11-28-08 -- "Ephemeral Exhibits", my 1st full-length album for the Planet Mu label is out now. Check my myspace page for links to stores. ~~~** This Monday, December 1st, my 12" as MOVES!!! for the Dress 2 Sweat label is out as well. Make sure you grab a copy of this 4x4 dancefloor smasher.
  10-30-08 -- My album "Ephemeral Exhibits" has been moved back to November 24th.... so you'll have to wait 2 more weeks for it. Hope you think it's worth the wait. ~~~**%^ Next Monday my 12" for Netherlands-based brand new label, Rwina, is out. It's called "Just a Million"... and features my remixes of Biz Markie's "Just a Friend" and Lil Wayne's "A Milli". Time to get some more Starkbot bootleg beats on vinyl once again. ~~~&&#%^ Next week is the Elevate Festival in Graz, Austria......... I've heard so many great things about this festival, so I can't wait to smash it up. I'm headlining Saturday night in room 2 with my man Drums of Death. Saturday afternoon I'm doing a Re-Wire seminar on that street bass sound.
  10-16-08 -- That's the cover for my album "Ephemeral Exhibits"... out Monday, November 10th on Planet Mu. It will be available on CD, Digitally & in a triple pack 12". ~~~~--- In other release news, my reix of Cacheflowe ft. Brer Rabbit's "Flowebot" is now available on Beatport. It's coming soon to iTunes and will be available on his cd in December. Check my myspace page for the Beatport player. Also... my tune "No Struggle" is on another Ruff/Peace-Off split 12". This time the flip comes courtesy of Broken Note. I've got links to some stores on the myspace blog.
  10-1-08 -- Yo everyone. Just wanted to give you a heads up. My album, "Ephemeral Exhibits" has got a release date.... November 10th!!! I've posted the tracklist up on my myspace page. Also... there's a couple of 12"s coming this month... the MOVES!!! "All Skate / Playaz" 12 on Dress 2 Sweat out of Glasgow and the Starkey "Just a / Million" 12 on Rwina out of Amsterdam.
  9-8-08 -- Sorry it's been a minute posting on my site... but like I've said the past couple months, I've been updating the MySpace blog on the regular. ~~** If you missed the Generation Bass show on BBC Radio 1 (Mary Anne Hobbs show)... you can hear my whole set on my myspace page. There's also a YouTube video with a short section of an interview we did after the show in there... plus 10 minutes of my (approx. 15 minute) set. Out to everyone who has had nice things to say about my set... it means a lot. ~~***@## Also... the Planet Mu album, "Ephemeral Exhibits", is finished and will be out this Fall. We're working on artwork now... so things are moving along nicely.
  7-30-08 -- First off.... thanks to everyone who has made it out to the recent shows on the West Coast and in London. It's been great to play some of the tunes from my forthcoming album and get such a great response. ---^^~~ If you haven't heard already... I will be dj'ing as part of the Generation Bass special on Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC Radio 1 show on Tuesday night, August 19th... 9pm EST or 2am GMT. Basically how it worked is, the 7 dj's who performed on the legendary Dubstep Wars special back in 2006 were asked to select 1 person to take their place on this year's show... and Vex'd (Jamie & Roly) selected me! Yeah... out to Vex'd! So there you have it. I'll also be traveling up to Glasgow the weekend I'm over in the UK to play a benefit party with Rustie, Jackmaster and more... so check the shows page for the details.
  7-10-08 -- I've really been keeping up-to-date with everything on my myspace blog... so head over there for all the details. ~~~*** Next week is Fabric in London.... then the week after that is San Francisco & Los Angeles. Can't wait for these trips... got some serious new tunes to drop. &&^^!!!! If you missed it this past week... I'm excited to announce that I'm going to have an album on Planet Mu this Fall. Still sorting out the tracklist... but stay tuned for that.

  5-21-08 -- Hey... I've been pretty active on the myspace blog lately, so head over there to check out all the updates and such. Next week I'll be playing my first dates in Europe outside the UK. I'll be in Athens Thursday, London Friday, Rotterdam Saturday and Dublin Sunday. If you're in one of those cities.... hope to see you there. The lineups are great for every night... so should be a crazy time.

  3-21-08 -- Hey kids... it's your friendly neighborhood Starkbot. Just checking in to give a big thanks to everyone who has been coming out to the various parties I have played over the past few months. It's been rather busy... which is nice! Next month I've got Seattle (Broken Disco 1yr Anniversary) & Portland (LoDubs party) as well as my first trip to Hartford CT (which is with Dev79). Then in May I'll be heading out to Europe!!! Look for the dates to be popping up soon. ---~~ In street bass news, Dev79 is dropping the 3rd Installment of the mixtape at the beginning of April! I've got a couple tunes on there... a remix of Styles P's "Blow Ya Mind" & Pop It Off Boyz "Crank Dat Batman". MOVES!!! has got the R. Kelly "Real Talk refix" on there as well. It's sick.... tunes from El Carnicero ft Cee Knowledge, Dev79 ft Bezel, Cobra Krames, Chrissy Murderbot, BD1982 & more. Definitely raising the bar for the 4th one, which I'll be dropping this summer.
  2-16-08 -- Hey everyone. Been rather busy lately.... so sorry for the lack of updates. I'm always updating the myspace page though... so check there as well. If you haven't seen my vid for the Crank Dat Batman remix yet.... here it is. Out to everyone who has said nice things about the tune. Also out to everyone who doesn't get it. That tune will be on Dev79's "Street Bass Anthems Vol 3", which is gearing up to push the Street Bass Anthems series to a whole other level. Look for it by April... definitely... yes.... I hope. haha. ~~~~** Next Saturday I'm playing at Bard College in upstate NY. If you're in the area... come through. ~~~**^^ In other party news... I'm heading out to San Francisco and Vegas in a few weeks.... then Seattle and Portland in April.
  2-1-08 -- Out to Plaid for a great night of music tonight. It's the weeee.... hours of 2/1/08, just got home from the show. ---~~~ Just wanted to give you UK, Europe & Japan promoters a heads up. I now have a booking agent for your town..... you can contact James at Bad Apple. Obviously you can still hit me up... but ultimately, he'll be doing all the details with you. I'm looking to do a european trip sometime mid-may to the end of june. maybe even 2 trips during that time. ----~~~~ What else... oh yes, .... the Cardopusher "Down to the Wire" 12" is finally OUT! Yeah! it's got remixes from me and Atki2 on it.... and it's released by Terminal Dusk. Search for it ..... chances are it's at ur favorite record store, if not, it will be soon.
  1-29-08 -- I'm opening for Plaid this Thursday at Johnny Brenda's in philly. Can't wait! If you're in the philadelphia area.... definitely make it out to this one. ***--> It's my first show ever in Pittsburgh on Saturday night. Let's go western pa.
  1-22-08 -- The party I played in Dallas at the end of 2007 was recorded, and the people at Unit One have got it available for download up on their site. They've also got a short interview up with me and dev79 outside the Rowdy party in NYC a couple weeks back. The party in Dallas was pretty wild.... some people got called out on the mic, a small fight broke out, ....well you'll hear it in the recording. Check it.
  1-15-08 -- This Friday is the Fall of Philadelphia at the Vacuum. Great sound system and byob, what more could you want. ~~~+ I'm heading out to Seattle in April for the 1 year anniversary of their killer party, Broken Disco.
  1-2-08 -- So it's a new year. i'm really excited going into 2008. i've got some good shows planned for the start of the year as well as some nice records lined up. Obviously... keep checking this site and the myspace page for all the details. I've got a Virb page as well... but I honestly don't keep up with that as much. One thing I want to let everyone know right now is that Seclusiasis Radio will now be on Sub FM, and airing live every 1st Monday of the month, 12am-2am GMT (that's usually 7pm-9pm EST). It's technically Tuesday at this time in the UK, but we all know it's really Monday night. The first show should be this coming Monday if we get everything worked out in time. At Sub FM here's a live chat room which I'm really looking forward to.
